The Golf Courses
The first two “don’t miss” courses we’d like to mention here are the Pete Dye Canyon and Jack Nicklaus Signature Painted Valley courses at Promontory.  Painted Valley is consistently rated as one of the Top 10 courses in  Utah, and both courses are nationally recognized as excellent courses for any golfer. Both Painted Valley and Dye are private courses, so you know you’ll be able to enjoy playing a round of golf in a peaceful setting.  The Pete Dye Clubhouse has so much to offer, including fantastic food, a terrific pro-shop and world-class locker facilities.  The newest, architectural gem is the Jack Nicklaus Clubhouse, opening this summer with great anticipation. The modern and sophisticated clubhouse features its own pro-shop, locker room and The Peak restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

If you want to venture into Park City, you can also spend time at one of the other golf courses in the area, such as the value priced Park City Golf Club. This is a very relaxed course to play through, although as a public course, you can expect it to be busier than a private club. The course itself is very well maintained and very easy to get to in Park City.

Steakhouses
We understand that steak might not be everyone’s meal of choice, but until you’ve tasted the steaks offered in Park City, you may need to reserve judgment. At the top end of the steakhouse league is the Edge Steakhouse, located at 3000 Canyon Resorts Drive. You can expect to pay a premium for eating here, but your taste buds will thank you for days afterwards. If you’re looking for a slightly more competitively priced meal, then make sure to check out the Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar, located at 804 Main St – you simply have to try the filet steak here!

Promontory’s very own Hearth Grille offers premium Wagyu Beef steaks that will melt in your mouth.  With handful of other morsels to choose from, and an impressive wine list with over 800 bottles in the collection, you can’t go wrong — especially with gorgeous views included.

Golf Shops
If you’ve forgotten something for your golfing weekend, then there’s no need to panic because the courses we’ve mentioned above have their own pro-shop.  There are also several Park City stores specializing in golf for you to choose from.  Utah Ski & Golf can be found on Park Avenue, plus you can also shop at the Sports Authority store at 1780 Park Avenue.   Why flip a coin to decide where your golf getaway weekend will be?  Park City and Promontory have everything you need for that perfect golf get-a-way!  To learn more about the Promontory Club click here or call us 435-333-CLUB.
