Easter Hops Into Park City With Events For The Whole Family
Easter right around the corner, but it’s not too late to plan your family Easter activities. Traditionally, this would mean organizing your Easter egg hunt, tracking down the Easter Bunny, and making the day as much fun as possible for everyone. Fortunately, your Park City event planners have done most of the hard work for you by organizing a variety of Easter activities guaranteed to bring smiles and happy memories for everyone in your family. All that you need to do is to pick which one suits you most!
Snowasis
This is a week-long event leads up to the Easter weekend. On Saturday night right before Easter, there’s an après ski party for kids, with music from local band Mother Lode. This is a great night out for the whole family, so we recommend that you check it out.
Then, on Easter Sunday April 5th, the Park City Mountain Resort Easter Egg Hunt takes place. You’ll need to be up early to attend, though, because the Hunt starts before 9 am. Then again, your kids will probably have been up at 6 am to nag you into getting up in time to help them find Easter eggs.
This hunt is suitable for kids under the age of 6, and is so popular in Park City that most residents look forward to it all year round. During the hunt, your kids will have the chance to track down lots of candy-filled eggs, with more than enough eggs for everyone. There’s also an “all mountain” event for teenagers and adults – this is a hunt for “Golden Eggs” on the nearby slopes. As much as you might be looking forward to finding a candy egg on the day, you’ll probably prefer the gift vouchers, and other neat gifts hidden in the Golden eggs.
If this doesn’t sound like quite enough fun for you and your kids, then you can all look forward to meeting the Easter Bunny on Sunday April 5th, too! Getting their photo taken with the Easter Bunny is an ideal way for your kids to take a break from hunting for all those Easter eggs, plus those memories last a lifetime.
If you stick around for a little while after the egg hunts are over, roughly 3 pm, you’ll also get to meet the Park City Mountain Resort avalanche dog teams. They love making new friends, so if you want to meet these four-legged heroes then make sure to drop by!
Easter Bunny in Deer Valley
The Park City Mountain Resort Easter Egg Hunt is usually a busy enough event, so if your kids are not in the mood to go hunting for eggs, then you can always pay a visit to the Easter Bunny at the Deer Valley Resort instead. The Bunny himself will be available to hand out treats to your kids between 9 am and 11 am, plus your family can grab a picture with him too, if you like. This is one of the more popular events over the Easter weekend in Park City.
Easter At Promontory
What better way is there than to spend Easter than you own backyard? This private, fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt is for Promontory members and their guests. Little one’s get a head start at 11 am at The Shed Amphitheater with plenty of special eggs filled with candy and much more! Plus, the Easter Bunny will pay a visit for family photos. Head on over to the Easter Brunch at the Hearth Grille for a festive Easter Brunch that the whole family will enjoy from 10 am – 2 pm.
We really hope your entire family enjoys their Easter weekend here at Promontory in Park City – we’re sure that you’ll have an eggs-cellent time!
