Swim Diaper Reminder

Please be courteous to your fellow members enjoying the pool and have your little ones in swim diapers and to check them often. If you do not have any, kindly ask an attendant and we can provide one for you.

Paint Mixer at Promontory
Mountain Town Summer

Cost includes all supplies needed for painting & lesson, and a light appetizer.

Aqua Aerobics Fitness Class

Take a break from gravity and join us in the pool for an Aqua Aerobics Class. By using dynamic movements and taking advantage of the waters natural resistance, this class is a body toning and cardio-conditioning workout without impact on the joints.

Women's Member/Guest Tournament

$90 Per Person | $180 Per Team

Join us for our Women’s Member/Guest tournament

This exciting, competitive, doubles event is a member favorite and is limited to a total of 16 players. This event will fill up, so register quickly to guarantee your spot.

Format: Each team will play a total of 7 rounds of 8 games with a 9 point tie-breaker at 4 games all. At the end of 7 rounds, the team with the most games won will determine our winner.

Includes: A Goodie Bag, Awards, Lunch, Drink & Snacks, and pro exhibition

Summer Concert with Promontory Member Keith Pennel's Band, Midnight Moonlight

Friday, August 5th
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm | The Shed Amphitheater

Join us at our next summer concert for live music, dancing and a whole lot of fun!

We encourage you to bring your own low chairs (chairs should sit low and not exceed 9 inches from the base of the frame of the chair to the ground) or blankets, as we have a limited amount available. At our Summer Concert Series events, we do allow Members to bring in their own food and drinks. We will have a beer and wine bar available for purchase, in addition to a delicious grilled kabob buffet.

Midnight Moonlight plays all the major Dead classics and delves deep into the extensive catalog of Jerry Garcia Band originals & classic covers to satisfy the biggest Deadheads. The band also mixes in an extensive repertoire of classic 70s and 80s blues-based rock legends like The Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones as well as their notable followers like Phish and Tedeschi Trucks Band.”

Tennis & Pickleball Programs

Gigi Fernandez Tennis Clinic

Sunday, August 7th | 8:00 am – 4:15 pm
Village Tennis Center | $425 per person

Gigi will be sharing her knowledge and expertise on how to become a better doubles player. Each clinic will be on 2-3 courts while students participate in drills utilizing her doubles philosophy and strategy to become a more confident doubles player.

Schedule of Events:

  • 8:00 am – 9:45 am: VIP Clinic 1 (NTRP 3.0-3.5)
  • 9:45 am – 11:30 am: VIP Clinic 2 (NTRP 3.5-4.0)
  • 11:30 am – 1:15 pm: VIP Clinic 3 (NTRP 4.0-4.0)
  • 1:15 pm – 2:30 pm: Lunch and Q&A Session
  • 2:30 pm – 4:15 pm: VIP Clinic 3 (NTRP 3.5-4.0)

Tennis Clinic Includes:

  • 1 hour and 45 minutes on court with Gigi
  • 4 to 1 player to coach ratio (8 players on 2 courts)
  • 1 hour and 30-minutes Round Robin Tournament for each clinic group. Awards for the top match winners.

Meet Gigi Fernandez

Gigi Fernandez is the winner of 2 Olympic Gold Medals and 17 Grand Slam doubles titles. A tennis Hall of Fame member, Gigi is recognized as one of the best doubles players of all time. She shares her passion and knowledge of tennis with recreational players all over the world.

We have complied our first Book of Tennis! In these pages you will find the entire summer schedule of activities along with tidbits about how to best enjoy tennis and pickleball at Promontory. You can read the Book of Tennis book below.

We have also added a new button to the Promontory App called “Tennis Programs” where you can sign up for camps, clinics, and events. We look forward to seeing you out on the courts!

Pickleball Clinics with Myrna Lueck

Myrna is a certified PPR instructor who has been playing Pickleball since 2015. She crossed over to pickleball from a background of softball and table tennis. She has medaled in several major Pickleball tournaments, including Gold at the Utah Huntsman Senior Games in 2018 and a Bronze at the Nationals in Palm Springs, CA in 2019. Myrna has also served as the Heber Valley USA Pickleball Ambassador since 2016.

Seating at The Shed has returned to a first come, first served basis.
Please contact Amy Maloney, Event Manager for parties 15 or more.

Beach Club Cabana Rentals
Weekday (Monday – Thursday) | $150 half day/$250 full day
Weekend (Friday – Sunday) | $200 half day/$350 full day

Note: With only 2 exclusive use cabanas at The Beach Club, reservations may fill up quickly. Please be respectful and cancel any reservations you are unable to keep well in advance. A $100 cancellation fee will apply to no-shows and any reservations cancelled after 12pm the day prior.

Beach Club & The Hot Spot Cafe
The Beach Club and The Hot Spot Cafe are open 7-days a week throughout the summer for pool and beachside dining. As a reminder, no outside food and beverages or coolers are permitted inside The Beach Club or at The Village Pool.

Hearth & Peak Restaurant Reservation Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations need to be made either by using the Promontory App or by emailing reservations.
  • Cancellations are accepted up to 12:00 pm on the day of the reservation.
  • Reservations can only be honored up to 15 minutes past the reservation time.
  • A No-Show fee of $25 per person up to $100 will be applied to your member account if the reservation is not cancelled and no one from your group comes to the restaurant at the time of the reservation.

Dining Reminder for Social Members

As we head into golf season, we wanted to remind our members that the Nicklaus Clubhouse and the Peak are full member only amenities during golf season. Outside of golf season, Social Members may dine in the Peak within a 48 hour reservation window.
