NEW THIS WEEK

Meet Bryce Spere
Director of Club Operations

Bryce grew up in Bountiful, Utah spending most of his time in the outdoors skiing, backpacking, playing soccer, and traveling with his family. Bryce has 4 siblings and hard-working parents who instilled in him the understanding of integrity, passion, and the desire to work hard and chase every dream he has. This has served him well throughout his life and his career. He has managed a resort in southern Utah near Zion National park and properties for Marriott Vacations and Capital Vacations.
Bryce comes to the Promontory Club with a Hospitality Business Management degree from the University of Utah, an MBA from Westminster College, and 20+ years of hospitality experience. Bryce married the love of his life, Heidi Reichman in 2007. Shortly after being married, they moved to southern Utah and lived outside Zion National Park for 3 years exploring the canyons of the park and finding new adventures throughout southern Utah. After moving back to Salt Lake City, they started a family and now have four children named Elliot (12), Jenna (9), Suzie (7), and Timmy (4) that keep their lives chaotic, exciting, and full of laughter. They enjoy spending time together at dance recitals, soccer games, basketball games, and skiing during the winter. Their favorite family vacations are to a family cabin in McCall, Idaho, spending time with Heidi’s family in Snowbird, backpacking in Yellowstone, visiting family and friends throughout the country, and traveling to Maui and Oahu.

Val Hardcastle, our former Director of Club Operations for the past 16 years, retired at the end of May. He is excited to spend time with family, travel and enjoy more time in the great outdoors. We already miss him and are so grateful for his years of dedicated leadership and careful attention to Promontory and our membership.
