The Week Of October 20, 2022
Our weekly newsletter for all things Promontory!
- Due to lack of participation we have canceled the ballroom dance class on Monday, October 24th.
- As we begin to cut the road by our Painted Shores neighborhood on Painted Valley Pass, please slow and watch for flaggers managing traffic control. This will be ongoing for the next 10 days.
- Friday morning Spin Class will resume in November.
- If you have not yet added your mobile number to your member profile for yourself and your immediate family dependents listed on your memberships, please do so now. This is a quick but important step in helping our staff identify members and allow authorized guests as part of our ongoing gate security enhancements. (Instructions are available here)

Thursday, November 3rd

“Matchstick Productions 2022 ski film explores this world of opportunities through the eyes of a 12 year-old freestyle phenomenon. Through his voice, the audience hears the skiing aspirations of such a 12 year-old, a kid who just wants to play and doesn’t have to ponder “real life” quite yet.
The core of this film is packed with a star studded cast of skiers shredding across the globe. Featuring: Sam Kuch, Tonje Kvivik, Eric Hjorleifson, Markus Eder, Emily Childs, Logan Pehota, Caite Zeliff, Lucas Wachs, Mathea Olin, Cole Richardson, Craig Murray, Lucy Sackbauer, Mark Abma, Sam Cohen, Dennis Ranalter, Hunter Hess, Birk Irving and introducing Walker Woodring.”

The Hills at Promontory
A Forrest Richardson Design
Golf Course Architect Forrest Richardson, with design partner Jeff Danner, have crafted an exciting design concept for Promontory’s third golf course, The Hills. With a full 18-hole experience, this unique course with all par-3 holes inspired by some of the greatest holes in golf across the globe will appeal to players of all skill level. Three of the new holes on The Hills Course play over 200 yards from the tips.
The Hills was designed with the ultimate in water conservation and environmental sustainability in mind. Crafted into the natural topography with surrounding sage and boulder outcrops, The Hills course consists of just 30 acres of total turf, with 15 acres on the tees and greens plus another 15 acres for the range, golf academy and practice areas. The new Hills Course, Golf Academy, and 18-hole putting course will usher in a new era at Promontory.
