Background & Experience

Hailing from New England, Michael’s passion for skiing and his desire to experience a different environment eventually brought him to Park City’s majestic slopes and its active lifestyle. Since 2009, he has brought this same zeal to assisting his real estate clients, whether they’re looking for an investment in a vacation property, purchasing land to build, or selling their current home. The success Michael has achieved in the industry can be attributed to not only his knowledge of Park City’s community and real estate market but also to the strategic approach he brings to every transaction. His clients appreciate his genuine, relaxed style of negotiating and selling, and trust that he will represent their best interests, both financially and materially.  

 

Prior to real estate, Michael attended Tilton Prep in New Hampshire, & Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  In 1998, he moved to Park City, where he continued to work in Landscape Design & Construction, with winters spent coaching ski racing & teaching skiing to private clientele all over the Intermountain West. Michael then transitioned successfully to fractional real estate development working for Park City Mountain & Canyons. With his knowledge of new construction and his innate sensibilities in design, Michael became one of their top-producing sales agents. These endeavors are what ultimately led him to Promontory, a multi-generational luxury mountain community that offers custom-built modern-style homes, as well as land to build. Since 2013, he has successfully engaged with dozens of families and individuals in their quest for the perfect ski/golf/mountain recreation lifestyle.

 

Michael recognizes that his success comes from being a strategic planner and an intellectual partner to his clients and associates, managing all the moving parts so that the final result will exceed his clients’ expectations. Michael finds great satisfaction in seeing that his clients achieve the well-deserved rewards of a vacation home, investment property, or simply realizing the dream of a luxurious mountain lifestyle.

 

Michael and his wife Jenna built a home in 2016 in Midway, just 10 miles South of Park City. They reside there with 3-year-old Atlas, newborn Everette, and their Rottweiler mix Bradee. Michael enjoys music, working out, playing hockey, skiing, & especially golf when time allows; relishing a rare date night with Jenna to sample the ever-changing farm to table foodie scene in the Park City Area. Having visited all but 4 states, he is making plans to explore Alaska, Louisiana, (possibly even Mississippi or Alabama) in the coming years just as much as family, golf, and helping folks’ Park City property dreams come true will allow!
