Background & Experience
Madison Doering DeWald is a true Park City native. Born and raised in Park City, Utah as an only child to wonderful parents that worked for the airlines, Madison is an old soul with an innate appreciation for nature, the mountains, and travel. All too familiar with the incredible year-round activities at one’s disposal in the great Summit and Wasatch counties, her favorite activities are skiing, camping, mountain biking, and learning to golf from her husband Steele, a former professional golfer. As a Park City local, Madison has witnessed a great deal of growth in our unique, resort market and is well-versed in all areas that this beautiful mountain town has to offer.
Competing at an elite level in ballet for over 16 years instilled in Madison the qualities and dedication necessary to accomplish anything she set her mind to. Eventually, her love of ballet brought her to the University of Utah where she planned to pursue a degree in dance. However, an injury prompted her to pivot from her dream of becoming a professional ballerina to applying to the University’s business school, where she excelled and obtained her BS in Business and Marketing with a small emphasis in Accounting.
For the last few years, Madison and her husband have enjoyed learning about the rental market in Park City by purchasing and self-managing three properties of their own. With a natural eye for interior design and aesthetics, Madison spearheaded small value play renovations for their properties, boosting exposure and increasing reservation volumes exponentially. Madison did this while simultaneously managing multiple properties not just of her own, but for her clients as well.
Also during this time, Madison gained knowledge regarding the local real estate industry by working as a sales agent for a sub-contractor specializing in AV, shades, and lighting. During this time, Madison learned about the multiple phases of construction and luxury custom-built homes; she was also responsible for familiarizing herself with architectural sets, control systems, and design while working closely with the best architects, designers, and builders Park City has to offer. This experience, along with her own time spent managing rental properties helped Madison realize how passionate she had become about the local real estate industry; she loved seeing her client’s visions and dreams for their properties transform into a reality.
In early 2021, when the opportunity to join the Sales Team at Promontory Club arose, Madison jumped at the chance. Wanting to challenge herself and having grown up frequenting the exclusive amenity-rich community with her family, she knew it was a special opportunity and place. Sales and marketing have always come naturally to Madison and she is excited to build her skills and knowledge of the local real estate market as part of the Promontory Sales Team.
