Whether it’s hiking in Southern Utah, fishing in Alaska, playing tennis in Washington, skiing or mountain biking in Park City, the Angiers love to be outside and are an active, fit family. They enjoy the beauty of the PNW at their main residence in Seattle and all that the mountains of Park City have to offer at their second-home in Promontory!
Kent grew up in Washington, D.C. and moved out west with his family when he was in high school. He is a developer in Seattle and his company, Kauri LLC, focuses on hotels and urban apartment buildings. His wife, Ingrid, is from Carmel, California and went to Gonzaga University where she graduated with a degree in public relations. After college she decided to move to Seattle and that’s when she met Kent, her future husband and also her boss!
Kent was working for a company in Seattle and the owner was always playing matchmaker. Every year they would go to the Christmas Ship Parade on Lake Washington and one year the boss’ daughter brought a friend to the parade… Not only was Ingrid a fun addition onboard the Christmas boat, Kent’s boss liked her so much he asked her if she’d be interested in working for the company. Ingrid got the job and Kent was her boss! “We worked together for a year and she was always flirting with me,” Kent laughed, “then I decided it was time to ask my boss for permission to take her on a date.” Six months later they were engaged and in June they will celebrate their 24th anniversary.
Ingrid decided to switch companies when they started dating and worked for AT&T as an employment recruiter for six years until she became a busy stay-at-home mom. No matter how busy Kent and Ingrid get their happy place is in the outdoors and being active is a top priority, two passions they have passed on to their children.
Their oldest, Bridgette is 17 and a Junior at Bellevue High School. She is the social butterfly of the family and an avid tennis player. She’s thinking about playing in college and is weighing her options!
Their daughter, Annaliese is a freshman at Bellevue High School and like her big sister, she also loves tennis! When she’s not training she’s taking a break and binge-watching, The Office, her current obsession.

Their youngest, Catherine, is 12 years old and the night out of the family. She is always moving and dancing whether it’s performing her newly choreographed routine or leaping through the house, she loves showing off her moves! She also enjoys the Wasatch Freestyle program when she’s in Park City.
Kent has two older children, Jake and Alex. His son, Jake, and his wife, Sheena, live in Sacramento with their two children and Jake is the Sacramento State pitching coach. His daughter, Alex is married to her husband, Alex, (yep, same names!) and they live in Seattle. Alex attended the University of Washington and she works in construction management.
With five kids and two grandkids, Promontory’s family membership was a huge reason Kent and Ingrid were drawn to our community. Before choosing Park City they scouted out lots of other possibilities; Jackson Hole, Big Sky, Red Mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Steamboat, Aspen, Breckenridge – you name it, they’ve been there but all in all Promontory’s amenities were unlike anywhere else and easy flight and airport commute were hard to beat. They currently have a Dye cabin but plan to build on their lot in The Summit in a few years and eventually retire here.
