Outfitter’s Cabin

The Outfitter’s Cabin is the jumping off point for every outdoor adventure at Promontory. Our outfitter Sean Smith is an Olympian and former US Ski Team member. He’s also a long-time Park City resident and veteran outdoorsman, so he knows all of the best ways to help nature come alive when you’re here. Whether it’s hiking, camping, biking or fishing in the summer or skiing, sledding or snowshoeing in the winter, Promontory puts the great outdoors at your fingertips.

Just as a number of hiking and biking trails converge on the Outfitter’s Cabin so too a number of outdoor adventures come together here. Fly fishing. Kayaking. Mountain biking. Snowshoeing. Water skiing. Whatever your passion, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to push your limits — or strike the perfect balance between recreation and relaxation. Not only do we know the hidden gems of the local landscape, we’re also well-equipped with top-tier rental equipment and expertly guided tours, so your next adventure is only a call away.
