In order to provide the best golf experience of our growing membership and to ensure that desired tee times are not wasted, Promontory management and the Golf Committee have agreed on new “no show” and “same-day cancellation” policies, effective immediately, as follows:

• In the event that a Member makes a tee time and “No Shows” that tee time, that Member will be charged 4, 18-hole cart fees ($100). This penalty applies to same-day cancellations as well.
• The next time that Member “No Shows” a tee time, that Member will be unable to book advance tee times (i.e., restricted to tee times 24 hours in advance, subject to availability).
• Additionally, if you sign up for a foursome and show up with less than 4 without cancellation, penalties will be assessed.

Explore the Princess Di single-track trail. This is our only single-track on property and is beautiful to hike. The hike can also familiarize you with the trail for winter snowshoeing. Dress for the outdoors, bring sunscreen and water.

These rides last 1 hour and will give you a good feel for our Promontory trail system. Rides are between 3 and 5 miles and at times tackle significant elevation gain. Dress appropriately for the weather forecast and bring your water bottle.

Mondays & Wednesdays at 10:30 am
Beginners/Intermediate Riders

Fly Casting Lessons
Sundays at 1:30 pm

Learn the proper presentation for a fly and improve your distance & accuracy with a fly rod. Great preparation for when you can get to one of our blue ribbon trout streams with a guide.

Fly rods are available for use at The Outfitter’s Cabin or bring your own.

Family Fishing at The Mountain Garden Pond
Saturdays at 1:30 pm

The Outfitter will set you up with the fishing gear, bait, and will accompany the fishermen to the Garden Pond for catch and release trout fishing.

Stand up Paddle Boarding
Thursdays & Fridays at 1:30 pm
Meet at The Beach House

Get the basics of paddle boarding to gain confidence and help make the experience more fun. Paddle around, practice different strokes and techniques to maximize power and efficiency.

As a measure to ensure that this amazing club retains its exclusivity, check-in is required to gain access to The Ranch Club concierge, The Ranch Club pool, The Shed, and The Beach House.

The next step in helping us do that is requiring that all Members add their Photos to the Promontory Club app. If you have not done so already, please take a few moments to upload/update your photo on the club app.

To upload your photo:

• Open the app and tap “Menu” on the bottom, right-hand side.
• Once you are on the menu screen, tap the profile picture icon on the top, left-hand side, right below the settings button.
• On the top-right-hand side tap the edit icon and choose your photo.

Please note: Once you select your new photo, it will be submitted to the Club for approval. It will only update on the app after it has been approved.

As our Membership returns for the summer with family and friends, please be sure you have taken a few minutes BEFORE coming to the Club amenities to access the new Member Website with your temporary password and then downloaded the new Promontory App. You will need the new Promontory app installed to scan your Member QR code and gain access at The Ranch Club concierge, The Ranch Club pool, The Shed and The Beach House. The Member Website and App are also your key to creating gate house passes for your guests, accessing golf tee times, making dining and event reservations, reviewing club hours of operations, contact info, member rosters, and your Club and Conservancy statements.

In an effort to help us maintain the exclusivity and security of our private club facilities, please note the following policies at The Ranch Clubhouse:

• Daily use gate keys for Members using the Adult Lap Pool or Tennis Courts are being issued at the Concierge desk. Using these keys, Members can gain access to the locker rooms and restrooms via the gate at the bottom of the stairs next to the Hotspot Café. This will enable us to keep all pool gates locked from the outside. Kindly refrain from propping the gates open with towels, rocks, or other objects.
• When you check-in at the Concierge desk to use either of the pools or Adventure Slide, the Concierge will issue a daily wristband to Members and their guests. The wristband will help our staff ensure that members and guests are checked in and authorized to use the pool amenities. If you need re-entry to the Ranch Clubhouse family pool after using the Adventure Slide or Adult Lap Pool, please show your wristband to the pool attendant at the locked gates for readmittance. Anyone in the pool area without a wristband will be asked to return to the Concierge desk to check in.

We also remind you that no outside food or beverages, including coolers, are allowed at the Ranch Clubhouse pools, Adventure Slide or Beach House.

Please note that we are NOT taking reservations at the Family Pool, Adult Lap Pool, the Fitness rooms, Shed Court or the Beach House clamshells. Cabana rentals at the Beach House are available for a full-day or half-day rental.

Clamshells with lounge chairs are first come, first served. We kindly ask that you do not “save” clamshells and lounge chairs by arriving early, laying down towels or other items to save your spot, and then leaving to return later. We’d like all our pools and outdoor spaces to be available for maximum enjoyment by our Members. Unoccupied clamshells and lounge chairs will be cleared regularly by Beach House or pool staff.

All young children who are not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper in the pool. Please be aware of your children and help us avoid unnecessary pool closures resulting from accidents that could be avoided.
