New Check-In Process

As our Membership returns for the summer with family and friends, your Club Management has implemented NEW technology and procedures to make sure we are serving our MEMBERS first and foremost at our most popular locations. When you arrive at The Ranch Club lobby, The Ranch Club pool, The Shed and The Beach House, you will need to provide your Member credentials in order to gain admittance. No exceptions.

Click the link below for how the new process will work!

We have implemented these new procedures on Saturday, June 15th based on strong collective feedback from the Membership that we must do more to ensure that our Members have primary access to the amenities. As with any change, it will take a little getting used to, but we agree that the benefit is improved enjoyment by Members of their private Club.

Ceramics With Lauren Vitulli

Lauren Vitulli is a ceramic artist and longtime Promontory resident. Come and try a class and let Lauren inspire your hidden creativity.

In one class you will make and decorate your piece, which will then be fired in our kiln and ready for pick up in 3-5 days. All pieces are food safe.

All ages and abilities welcome! Private classes are also available upon request.

Much like riding a bike or learning to draw, understanding the fundamentals is key to improving one’s skills and having fun doing so. The same is true in golf and is the purpose of this seasons Junior Learners Golf Clinics. Each week will provide a fantastic learning environment for those who are new to the sport and begin to lay the foundation to becoming future golfers! Perfect for kids who have never swung a club or are still new to the game.
________

Junior Player Skills Clinics
Fridays At The Nicklaus Golf Course
June 7th – August 16th

Session 1
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Session 2
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

For the Junior Golfer seeking to refine their skills and develop as a player, look no further than our Junior Player Skills Clinics. The focus each week will be on a different aspect of the game, provide the player with more insight about each shot, and offer new practice ideas for them to experiment with. Our goal is to help each junior learn more about their own swing and how they play the game of golf. Recommended for more experienced Junior Golfers.

Member Trip To The Masters

Promontory’s Masters trip sure was one for the ages, capped off by an historical win by Tiger Woods!

We started our trip in Atlanta, Georgia where we played 2 rounds of golf including at the world renown Atlanta Athletic Club, it sure didn’t disappoint. From Atlanta, we took off to Augusta where we were able to attend Wednesday’s practice round and Par 3 challenge. We were spoiled that day with perfect weather and lots of laughs from the players and their kids who were their caddies for the day. The next two days we enjoyed the excitement of championship golf and the stunning beauty of Augusta National Golf Club. We had the pleasure of hanging out and having dinner with tour player Kevin Kisner on Thursday night. Kisner ended up finishing in 21st place. He was a great guy and definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We have a couple of member trips scheduled for the upcoming year!

Rules For A Reason During The Season

With the busiest months at Promontory ahead of us, I am sending a gentle reminder about the need for all of our Members, their families and guests to treat our very-special amenities with care. We welcome all to ‘our house’ and expect that pride in ownership and pride in the quality of Promontory will be nurtured by all who come and use these amazing amenities. I am also asking that you remember and respect our hard-working cleaning and service staff and help them by putting towels and garbage in the proper bins. We want everyone to have magical days at Promontory by showing respectful conduct and keeping things nice for your fellow Members who come after you. In the event that
anyone in the family-of or as a guest-of the main Membership fails to meet the standards of our Club, please remember that the consequence will be on the main Member.  So, please help everyone who is here ‘on you’ know the Club rules so they may enjoy their days with us here at Promontory Club.

Thanks, and happy summer!
