Junior Tennis Intensive Camp
Monday, June 21st – Friday, June 25th

Beginner to Advanced Players | Ages 7 to 17 | $300 Per Person
Join Promontory’s Head Tennis Professional Adam Huebner and his USPTA staff for a week of fun, fitness, and learning the “game of a lifetime”. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate or advanced tennis player, they’ll be taught the skills necessary to progress to the next level of their game.
Dartfish video analysis will be used to analyze each student’s strokes for a better visual understanding of their stroke production to greatly enhance the learning process. A fruit and juice break will be provided every day. Awards will conclude our program on Friday.

Tennis Court Update
Tennis Court Update:
There’s been a slight change in the timing of our tennis courts being resurfaced.
- The upper 3 tennis courts are closed for resurfacing and will open back up for play this Friday, June 18th.
- On Monday, June 21st, the lower-level center court will be closed for resurfacing and will open back up for play on Saturday, June 26th.
We would like to ask any member who currently has a tennis reservation during these times, to please reach out to the concierge to change your schedule and to confirm reservations shortly after our scheduled completion dates as timing might change due to unforeseen challenges.
Lastly, our tennis professional Adam Huebner currently has programs and lessons that have been booked will be utilizing the center court for instruction purposes during the upper court resurfacing. This means that there will be a few days that there will not be any courts available for open play during some hours of the day.
We apologize in advance for the inconvenience but assure you that you will be very excited about the finished product and the beautiful, newly resurfaced courts to enjoy.

Sunday, July 4th at The Nicklaus Painted Valley Driving Range
Festivities begin at 6:30 pm | Laser Show begins at 10:00 pm
Please join Promontory and The Conservancy for a wonderful celebration of family, friends, and freedoms this Independence Day. Our Sunday, July 4th festivities will begin at 6:30 pm on the Nicklaus Painted Valley Driving Range. Promontory members, owners, and their in-house guests are invited to join us for this 4th of July family picnic and fireworks show.
Event details are as follows:
- We are pleased to welcome back Majestic Grill as our caterer for this event. An amazing spread of delicious BBQ delights including great sides, dessert, and soft drinks will be available for advance purchase only. Reserve your dinner ticket by contacting reservations below.
- Music throughout the evening will be provided by a DJ.
- Farm petting zoo, face painting for the kids, and games for the whole family will be ongoing throughout the evening.
- The Promontory Laser Light Show will begin at 10:00 pm and will be accompanied by an upbeat, patriotic medley arranged by our DJ.
- Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.
- Parking is limited so we highly encourage carpooling with your household. Parking will be available along Painted Valley Pass – watch for staff and signs directing traffic.
- With Promontory’s growing membership, limited parking, and a cap on our event permit attendance, we are limiting this event to those on your membership/in your household as well as your in-house visiting guests only. We ask that you do not extend invitations to in-town neighbors and friends, work colleagues, or other groups you may be associated with (i.e., church groups, charitable groups, etc) as the event will exceed capacity.

Reservations & Checking In Reminder
As our Membership returns for the summer with family and friends, please be sure you have taken a few minutes BEFORE coming to the Club amenities to access the new Member Website with your temporary password and then downloaded the new Promontory App. You will need the new Promontory app installed to scan your Member QR code and gain access at The Ranch Club concierge, The Ranch Club pool, The Shed and The Beach House. The Member Website and App are also your keys to creating gatehouse passes for your guests, accessing golf tee times, making dining and event reservations, reviewing club hours of operations, contact info, member rosters, and your Club and Conservancy statements.
With your smart phone in hand, you’ll be able to check in efficiently using the Northstar App. There is a QR code ‘scan’ icon. Click the bottom right “menu” button. On the top right-hand corner click “Scan In”. When you click it, a QR Code will pop up and can be scanned by the attendant.
Please note that we are NOT taking reservations at The Family Pool, Adult Lap Pool, the Fitness rooms or the Beach House Clam Shells.
Cabana rentals at the Beach house are available for a full day or half day rental. Clamshells with lounge chairs are first come, first served. We kindly ask that you do not “save” clamshells and lounge chairs by arriving early, laying down towels or other items to save your spot, and then leaving to return later. We’d like all our pools and outdoor spaces to be available for maximum enjoyment by our members. Unoccupied clamshells and lounge chairs will be cleared regularly by Beach House or pool staff.

New Cardio Equipment
Promontory is excited about our new fleet of state-of-the-art cardio machines in the Ranch Clubhouse. Come and get your cardio on! The spin room and outdoor upper decks have also been reset with spin bikes.
With this new equipment, we have resumed first come, first serve access to the Ranch Club Cardio Room, Spin Room, and Weight Room. Accordingly, we will no longer be taking reservations for gym usage. Each fitness room will have a max capacity:
- Cardio Room at The Ranch Clubhouse: 10 Members at a time
- Weight Room at The Ranch Clubhouse: 12 Members at a time
- The Nicklaus Fitness Studio: 10 Members at a time

Our Outfitters Cabin is ready to help you get out and have a great time in the outdoors in Promontory and beyond. The Outfitter’s Cabin offers guided hikes, bike rides, fly casting lessons, stand-up paddleboard lessons, fishing at The Mountain Garden Pond. They can even help you with other activities outside of Promontory, like boating at our nearby reservoirs, white water rafting, guided fly fishing tours, ATV tours, and more.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added 450 fish to the Mountain Garden Pond; fishing this summer will be excellent! We’ve added 150 Rainbow Trout, 150 Brook Trout and 150 Wipers, which are a hybrid between the striped bass & white bass.

Even if you won’t be in town to participate in our annual Foundation Concert on July 3rd, you can still bid on great packages and contribute through our online auction! New items will be uploaded weekly, so make sure to check back each Monday for a new link in the Wire.
