Meet Doug Roberts - New Director of Instruction
I’m very excited to join the golf staff at Promontory! I’m looking forward to the opportunity of establishing relationships with the members and guiding all levels of players to find and nurture their love of the game.
Please know that in all golf lesson settings, all safety COVID-19 and social distancing policies will conform with the guidelines set by local health organizations. My focus is on the safety and personal comfort of the member, guest, and staff as we each allow the game of golf to better our health and wellness.
With regards to my profile and prior experience, a couple of highlights that I think are noteworthy include:
- Currently ranked as the #1 Golf Instructor in Utah by Golf Digest.
- A two-time recipient of the Utah PGA Teacher-of-the-Year.

To help prevent seasonal cold and flu spread, promote good hygiene habits in your home:
- Wash hands frequently with hot, soapy water
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth
- Sneeze or cough into the crook of your elbow

Homeowner Dumpster Use
The Conservancy has a roll off dumpster in the parking lot behind the Equestrian Center that can be used by homeowners when curbside pickup cannot handle the an increased volume.
Please use this location and not the dumpster enclosures being utilized by club operations in the clubhouse areas. The club areas cannot handle the additional volume.
