Cabana rentals are available for a full day or half day. Clamshells with lounge chairs are first come, first served. We kindly ask that you do not “save” clamshells and lounge chairs by arriving early, laying down towels or other items to save your spot, and then leaving to return later. We’d like all our pools and outdoor spaces to be available for maximum enjoyment by our members. Unoccupied clamshells will be cleared regularly by beach house staff. Road Maintenance Work Reminder
Road work will continue in the community for the coming weeks with an expected completion date of June 20. Crack sealing and manhole lifting on the roads should finish tomorrow, with the remaining work tentatively scheduled as follows:
- Cut and Patch – May 15-21
- Slurry – May 31-June 19
All main roads are set to be treated, as are these neighborhoods: Wapiti Canyon, The Summit, Buffalo Jump, Dye Course Cabins, Promontory Ridge, and Northgate Canyon.
Please note that most parking lots throughout Promontory will also have some work done:

Get Outdoors with Our Outfitter's Cabin

Our Outfitters Cabin is ready to help you get out and have a great time in the outdoors in Promontory and beyond. The Outfitter’s Cabin offers guided hikes, bike rides, fly casting lessons, stand-up paddleboard lessons, fishing at The Mountain Garden Pond. They can even help you with other activities outside of Promontory, like boating at our nearby reservoirs, white water rafting, guided fly fishing tours, ATV tours, and more.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added 450 fish to the Mountain Garden Pond; fishing this summer will be excellent! We’ve added 150 Rainbow Trout, 150 Brook Trout and 150 Wipers, which are a hybrid between the striped bass & white bass.

A stone’s throw from the Ranch Clubhouse, our 5,000-square-foot clubhouse was designed for 4-12 year-olds and their imaginations with oodles of organized activities, games, and crafts!

Promontory Club welcomes Anni Webb, USPTA Elite Professional, who has been passionate about teaching tennis since 1991. She started her career in New Hampshire teaching beginner adult and junior programs. Anni then became a USTA school’s clinician throughout the New England area, worked her way to the Harvard Tennis Camp, and the Kinyon Jones Tennis Camp at Dartmouth. Recently, she has been active teaching with a variety of USTA/UTAH tennis programs in the greater Salt Lake Valley. Anni lives in Park City and is a passionate skier.

Meet The Team at The Nicklaus Fitness Studio

Riley Burt
Riley is our newest member of the fitness team! He has his bachelor’s degree from BYU in Exercise and Wellness and a masters degree from Utah State in Sports Education. He was a first-team all-state football player and track athlete. Riley teaches our two TRX classes at the Nicklaus gym. Riley offers personal training to help you meet your goals and keep you motivated with an emphasis on strength, form, and technique to prevent injury.
Keep an eye out for some challenging clinics from Riley this summer for youths and adults alike!

Wendy Galovich
Wendy has been with Promontory for 4 years and has been teaching yoga for 7 years. She is working towards getting her bachelor’s degree in Health and Kinesiology. Wendy teaches our aerial and flow yoga classes at the Nicklaus studio. Her personal training emphasis is on the mind and body connection.
Look for her 4-week golf clinic starting May 8th, designed to get your body ready for play! This series will utilize principles of kinesiology, biomechanics, and physics to optimize your performance.

Updated Fitness Cancellation Policy
Due to limited class size and excessive no-shows that have unnecessarily precluded other members from participating, we have implemented a 3 strike rule. After TWO no-shows, a $10 cancellation fee will be billed. Please be sure to cancel your fitness reservation in advance if you are unable to make it.
Gym Reservations Reminder
To maintain the social distancing recommended during the pandemic, please continue to make reservations until further notice. If you do not have a reservation and desire to come in for a workout on the spur of the moment, please call the concierge for availability and the staff will get you into the first available slot. If you have a reservation and want to start your workout a little early, make a quick call to the concierge desk and they will again do their best to accommodate you.

Shed Breakfast Update
Now that ski season and our seasonal shuttle service is winding down, we anticipate reduced breakfast usage of our Shed Clubhouse during shoulder season. Beginning today, Monday, April 5th through May 27th, our weekday breakfast offerings will include pastries, coffee, and drink service only. Saturday/Sunday breakfast service will continue to feature our full menu offering. If you haven’t dined at The Shed for breakfast recently, we invite you to come in!
