Utah Health Update
Summit County Moves to Moderate

Summit County has moved to Moderate Transmission Level Index.

Masks in indoor public spaces and outdoors when distancing is not possible are still required statewide. Social distancing is still recommended along with frequent hand washing and staying home when sick.

Other key points you should know:

  • Social gatherings “such as family dinner, get-togethers with friends, book club, not including formal religious services or educational events or gatherings with an event host” – the recommendation is to limit gathering size to 25 or fewer
  • Restaurants – 6’ distancing between parties required in waiting areas only and dining areas may return to normal table capacity; masks required unless actively eating or drinking; the customer must remain in one place while eating or drinking.
  • Workout Gyms – “requirement” to have 6’ distance between patrons is removed and changed to “recommendation.”
  • Public Gatherings – “any establishment or organization with an event host that allows public gathering, such as live events, movie theatres, sporting events, weddings, recreation, and entertainment”:
    • Require each attendee to confirm they are not subject to isolation or quarantine and are not experiencing symptoms
    • Masks are required except for performers/athletes who are exempt while performing
    • Attendees who remove masks to eat or drink must maintain a 6’ distance from other parties
    • Event hosts must notify close contacts of attendees who test positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours of being notified of the exposure
  • Promontory’s amenities continue to be open and operating under the existing protocols.

Ski Equipment Pick Up

This year, both Deer Valley and Park City Mountain resorts will close winter operations on Sunday, April 11th. Our Promontory Lodge facilities are scheduled to close on the same date. We ask that the members clean out their lockers and pick up their ski equipment at the lodges during normal operating hours before the closing date if possible. If you intend on using the lodges until the closing date we will have staff at each of the lodges from Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th from 9 am to 5 pm to facilitate pick up and take care of our seasonal closure.

Please arrange to come pick up your belongings during these operating hours. Each year a few pieces of ski equipment are left and if not picked up they are donated to local charities.

Hearth & Peak Closed for Spring Deep Cleanings

The Hearth will be closed from April 11 – April 19 for deep cleaning and repairs.
The Peak will be closed from April 19 – April 27 for deep cleaning and repairs.

Updated Fitness Cancellation Policy

We're Transitioning to a New Internal Club Software System - March UPDATE

We are excited to announce that Promontory Club is transitioning to a new Club Software system! Northstar is the leading vendor of Club Management & Community Association Software used by more than 1,000+ clubs & communities worldwide. It is the only club software that offers a complete single solution built ground up on one database.

Over the next two months, Promontory will be finalizing the transition from our ForeTees app and programming to a more efficient and robust Northstar app to better service our Promontory community. As we make this transition, we will keep our members/owners informed of each step until the transition is complete.

On Monday, February 1st, we initiated the first step in the internal transition. Behind the scenes, we have gone live in our new Northstar system within our accounting, point of sale (POS), and customer relationship management (CRM) modules.

With this change, Members/Owners will not have daily access to detailed Activity History in the months of February and March on the ForeTees app/website as you have in the past. This interruption is temporary and we appreciate your patience as we migrate to the new platform. If you need February or March transaction details in real-time during this period, please call Autumn Hatch at 435-333-4024, Sara Baumgardt at 435-333-4028, or email the billing department(Email Below) and they will be able to produce statements and answer questions. Once the Northstar app is rolled out to Members/Owners next month, access to your account statements and daily activity charges will be available.

As a member/owner, your Club, Conservancy, and Home Services February statements will be emailed to you out of our new Northstar system by Friday, March 12. For any member/owner on either of our automatic payment options – your February balance auto payments will be run the last week of March.

All of our staff appreciate your patience as we get our Northstar system up and running! It’s going to be great and we are excited to roll it out to you.

Home Services Reminder

As we “spring forward” with Daylight Savings Time, don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Fire Departments across the country recommend using this event as a benchmark to test your system and replace the batteries twice a year. This is an often overlooked and crucial safety measure; but beyond that, it can save you from the agony of a smoke detector beginning to beep in the middle of the night, 20 feet up on a vaulted ceiling.

Inquire about how our Home Services team can take care of this, and all of your home’s preventative maintenance needs.

Golf Season is Right Around the Corner

It’s time to start thinking about the 2021 golf season! You will be able to sign up for tee times beginning in April, and tournament sign-ups will be posted shortly after. We hope to you see at all of the fun events we have planned for you this season!

We have updated our ‘BOOK of GOLF’ – everything you need to know about the Promontory golf experience. Read the Book of Golf below!

Visitor/Guest Registration

In response to the state of pandemic and to better monitor access to the community, the Conservancy’s Board of Directors has approved a change to public access through the gates. The gates will “close” at 7:00 pm. At that time, members of the public (i.e., not visiting a specific owner, not an approved vendor, just wanting to drive through) wishing to enter the community would be turned away. When gates are “open” (6:00 am-7:00 pm), members of the public wanting to drive through will be entered into a log with name and vehicle information and issued a pass to travel through to the other gate only.

During all hours, legitimate guests will be allowed access if a pass has been created by an owner-host or if the host can be contacted by telephone when the guest is at the gate. If the host cannot be contacted, the guest would be turned away. Gate staff will continue to follow protocol for real estate visitors to ensure limited disruption of showings.

As such, it is extremely important for Promontory owners to do two things:

  • Please enter a pass in ForeTees for ALL guests ahead of their arrival. (See instructions below)
  • Please provide a good phone number so you can be contacted if a pass has not been entered. Guests will be turned away if you cannot be contacted.

To add or update a phone number, please submit it to:

  • The Conservancy at conservancy@promontoryclub.com
  • Logan Finlayson at lfinlayson@promontoryclub.com
  • Joe Ellis at jellis@promontoryclub.com

This policy is enacted for both the Main Gate and the Equestrian Gate. Construction gate access will continue to operate as-is. The Board is hopeful this change will limit the people in Promontory to those with business in the community.

Guest Registration through the ForeTees App

Club Members:

  • Open the app and scroll to “Guest & Visitor Pass”
  • Once you tap the image it’ll take you to where you can create a guest pass
  • Fill the form out and submit it

Owners That Are Not Members:

  • Go to https://members.promontoryclub.com/.
  • Username – Sign in using your legal lot ID (Example: HSD-5)
  • Password – Your last name with the first letter capitalized (Example: Smith)
    • You’ll be able to change your username and password after your first log in
  • Once you are logged in, you’ll see a menu on the left side. Click on “Gate & Visitor Pass” and create the pass.

If you have any issues or questions about logging in, please contact Joe Ellis
