Shrimp, Crawfish and Andouille Sausage Jambalaya
Celebrate a New Orleans tradition, with our ‘King Cake’ Cheesecake.
If you find the hidden “baby” in your slice, you’ll receive 50% off your dinner entree!
For those who are unaware, the King Cake Tradition is thought to have been brought to New Orleans from France in 1870. The cake or pastry is decorated in royal colors of purple which signifies “Justice,” green for “Faith,” and gold for “Power.” These colors were chosen to resemble a jeweled crown honoring the Wise Men who visited the Christ Child on Epiphany.
In the past, such things as coins, beans, pecans, or peas were also hidden in each King Cake. Today, a tiny plastic baby is a common prize. Typically, at a party, the King Cake is sliced and served. Each person looks to see if their piece contains the “baby.” If so, then that person is named “King” for a day. The “King,” per tradition/custom, will host the next party and provide the King Cake.

“Founded in 2007 as a program offered by the newly-built Park City Ice Arena, the Figure Skating Club of Park City quickly established itself as an independent non-profit in 2008 with 15 youth skaters. Since then, the FSC of Park City has grown to more than 65 skaters.
FSC of Park City is finding success on the ice in a ‘snow sport’ town by providing exceptional training for singles skaters while offering an active Devo Program, the Park City High School Skating Team, an expanded solo dance program, off-ice ballet training, off-ice strength, and conditioning training, on-ice and off-ice jump harnesses, access to need-based funding for athlete training through our partner, the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA), an ambitious annual ice show, and frequent clinics featuring nationally recognized coaches.”

We're Transitioning to a New Internal Club Software System - Northstar
We are excited to announce that Promontory Club is transitioning to a new internal Club Software system! Northstar is the leading vendor of Club Management & Community Association Software used by more than 700 clubs & communities worldwide. It is the only club software that offers a complete single solution built ground up on one database.
Over the next two months, Promontory will be finalizing the transition from our Foretees app and programming to a more efficient and robust Northstar app to better serve the membership. As we make this transition, we will keep the membership informed of each step until the transition is complete.
Today we initiated the first step in the internal transition. Behind the scenes, we have gone live in our new Northstar system within our accounting, point of sale (POS), and customer relationship management (CRM) modules.
With this change, membership will not have daily access to detailed Activity History in the month of February on the ForeTees app/website as you have in the past. This interruption is temporary and we appreciate your patience as we migrate to the new platform. If you need February transaction details in real-time during this period, please call Autumn Hatch at 435-333-4024, Sara Baumgardt at 435-333-4028, or email the billing department and they will be able to produce statements and answer questions. Once the Northstar app is rolled out to the membership next month, access to your account statements and daily activity charges will be available.
As a member/owner, both your Club and Conservancy January statements will be available by Wednesday, February 10, on the ForeTees app/website. Email notifications will be sent out as usual. The difference in February will be that for any member/owner on either of our automatic payment options – your auto payments will be run the last week of February.
All of our staff appreciate your patience as we get our Northstar system up and running! It’s going to be great and we are excited to roll it out to you.

Utah Health Update
Summit County is still in the High Transmission Level Index.
Key points you should know:
- Social gatherings of 10 or fewer are permitted. Masks are required in indoor public spaces as well as outdoors when distancing is not feasible.
- Restaurants & Bars: 6 feet between parties at all times (including waiting areas and when seated).
- When does a county change levels?
- Changes from a higher transmission level to a lower transmission level may occur every 14 days at a minimum when thresholds are met.
- Promontory’s amenities continue to be open and operating under the existing protocols.
You may access the State’s full health guidance by clicking below.

Visitor/Guest Registration
In response to the state of pandemic and to better monitor access to the community, the Conservancy’s Board of Directors has approved a change to public access through the gates. The gates will “close” at 7:00 pm. At that time, members of the public (i.e., not visiting a specific owner, not an approved vendor, just wanting to drive through) wishing to enter the community would be turned away. When gates are “open” (6:00 am-7:00 pm), members of the public wanting to drive through will be entered into a log with name and vehicle information and issued a pass to travel through to the other gate only.
During all hours, legitimate guests will be allowed access if a pass has been created by an owner-host or if the host can be contacted by telephone when the guest is at the gate. If the host cannot be contacted, the guest would be turned away. Gate staff will continue to follow protocol for real estate visitors to ensure limited disruption of showings.
As such, it is extremely important for Promontory owners to do two things:
- Please enter a pass in ForeTees for ALL guests ahead of their arrival. (See instructions below)
- Please provide a good phone number so you can be contacted if a pass has not been entered. Guests will be turned away if you cannot be contacted.
To add or update a phone number, please submit it to:
- The Conservancy at conservancy@promontoryclub.com
- Logan Finlayson at lfinlayson@promontoryclub.com
- Joe Ellis at jellis@promontoryclub.com
This policy is enacted for both the Main Gate and the Equestrian Gate. Construction gate access will continue to operate as-is. The Board is hopeful this change will limit the people in Promontory to those with business in the community.

- Open the app and scroll to “Guest & Visitor Pass”
- Once you tap the image it’ll take you to where you can create a guest pass
