Featured Events and Upcoming Activities

Winter Reminders

Please Note:

  • The Shed Bowling Alley will be closed on Tuesday, January 4th & Wednesday, January 5th for the installation of new pinsetters.
  • Due to very high demand in the restaurants, takeout orders will be suspended from 5-8 pm at The Shed, Peak, and Hearth restaurants from now until January 1st. Please plan ahead for either early or late-night dining if you prefer takeout.
  • Over the next two weeks, our Promontory ski lodges at both Park City and Deer Valley will be highly trafficked with so many of our members in town enjoying the holidays. Please be considerate of your fellow members during this peak time and make room for each other by limiting your lodge time for short ski stops or a chance to warm up with a hot cup of soup and a cool beverage. A reminder that we are also in our Blackout Period which means guests are restricted at both lodges now through January 2nd.

Happening This Week

Sleigh Rides

 Sunday, December 26th – Thursday, December 30th
2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at The Equestrian Center
10 people per sleigh. Reservations Required.

Please Note:

If you choose to cancel, please be courteous and cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees and to ensure that other members on the waitlist have the opportunity to fill the unused spots.

A few things you should know:

  • Please arrive with your full group at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals due to the high demand for sleigh rides.
  • 10 total reservations per MEMBERSHIP max.
    • Children under the age of 4 (if they sit on a lap) will not be counted towards the 10 total reservations.
If you make a reservation and need to change the day/time, there will be a Reservation Change Fee of $25 per group.
  • Should your plans change and you cannot make your reservations, you must cancel your reservations 48 hours in advance with the Concierge. Due to limited capacity and the popularity of this special Promontory holiday tradition, we want to be sure that members on the waitlist have an opportunity to backfill any cancellations.
    • For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or any no-show, there will be a $20 Cancellation Fee per person.
  • Please note, if you book a reservation for less than 10 people, your group may be placed with another family to create a total of 10 people on each sleigh.
  • Due to Covid, we will not be providing blankets. Please dress warm and bring your own blanket.
  • We will have the fire pits outside to warm up, hot chocolate and sweet treats inside the Equestrian Center. We hope you come and make some great memories with your families this holiday season!

New This Week

Letter From the GM - Holiday Precautions

As we embark upon the busy holidays and spend time together at Promontory, we continue to ask that all our members and guests be considerate toward each other and our staff, especially as it relates to our respect of community spaces and gathering in public settings and groups. We are particularly mindful right now with members traveling in from all over the country, that the risk of contracting and spreading all sorts of cold-weather bugs as well as the new more contagious Omicron Variant is on the rise.

In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Omicron Variant and to keep our staff healthy with facilities open to serve you, we are asking for your assistance with the following during these busy holiday weeks:

  • Please refrain from coming to Promontory amenities, restaurants and events if you are feeling sick, believe that you might have been exposed to COVID or if you are awaiting test results.
  • Should you be unable to keep your dining or event reservations due to illness, please be sure to cancel any reservations as far in advance as possible as we have several member families hoping to dine and participate in scheduled activities during the holidays.
  • Consistent with local and national health recommendations, please strongly consider wearing a mask indoors in crowded public spaces over the holiday weeks, even if you have been fully vaccinated. Please note that our staff are NOT going to be policing anyone about masks (and we ask that you do not engage in policing or shaming behavior either). We have also asked our member-facing staff to mask up when indoors over this holiday period.
  • Please continue practicing good hygiene practices including frequent hand washing and healthy living habits.

Thank you for your consideration and we wish all of you a very happy and healthy holiday season!

With much appreciation,

Kelli Brown
