Promontory Foundation Donates ‘Tory The Deer’ To PC TOTS
On Friday, the Promontory Foundation was overjoyed to visit PC TOTS, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality, affordable, and safe childcare for working families in the Park City community. Their Extended Day Learning Program focuses on Early Childhood education, social development, and cultural awareness for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. This year the Foundation has made PC TOTS one of the beneficiaries of the annual July 4th fundraiser. During their visit Friday, the Promontory Foundation donated 200 stuffed animal Promontory Deer who we named ‘Tory’. The kids were all so excited to be able to take home their very own ‘Tory the Deer’.
PC TOTS was developed by community members who recognized that there was a strong need for quality and affordable childcare in our Park City. As a collective, members of local non-profits joined together to form PC TOTS, a 501c3 non-profit. This collective creation allows PC TOTS to directly respond to the unique needs of the Park City community and their need for quality and affordable childcare.
Member Mixer at The Shed

Due to The Hearth being closed, this week’s member mixer will be held at The Shed.
Kids’ Cabin Food Drive
Beginning this Tuesday, November 6th, the kids’ cabin is holding a “Kid Friendly” Food Drive. All donations will be given to The Christian Center.
If you wish to donate please bring “kid friendly” foods like: Campbell’s Soups, microwavable mac & cheese, fruit snacks, etc…

Promontory’s Member Trip To The 2019 Masters!
Sunday, April 7th, 2019 – Saturday, April 13th, 2019
Join our Golf Director, Ryan Kartchner and your fellow members at the 2019 Masters!
This Trip Will Include:
- Play golf (courses to be determined) on Monday, April 8th & Tuesday, April 9th
- Attend the Practice Round and Par 3 Tournament on Wednesday, April 10th
- Attend the Masters Tournament on Thursday, April 11th & Friday, April 12th

Meet Promontory’s New Membership Director – Philina McNeil
Philina McNeil is a long time Utah resident who currently lives in the Salt Lake Valley. She comes to us from the advertising industry and has also worked with several start-up technology firms both in Customer Success and Trade Show events. She graduated from Westminster College with a BA in Communication – focused on journalism and graphic design. She minored in both Theater and French, and acting is a long-time love.
Her hobbies include horseback riding, snow-shoeing, ball-room dancing, singing, attending the opera and writing. She’s very excited to join the Promontory team, and to meet and get to know the members, and help them to have the best experience possible at the club. Getting up above the Salt Lake Valley and into the beauty and peace of the upper valley is amazing, and she’s still very entranced by the random wildlife sightings!

The Fidler Family
The Fidlers Promontory story started back in the ‘80s when Peggy and Bill combined their families and were married in 1987. Combining two families can be tough but not when all seven children love to ski and golf!

Tom O’Brien
Promontory member, Tom O’Brien, is cycling from coast-to-coast to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and you can help!
Tom grew up in Texas and moved to New Orleans in the early seventies. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School (Class of ‘71) and received a 10-speed bicycle as a graduation gift. He loved biking so much he decided he would train all summer and ride his new bike from New Orleans to Dallas. He set out in August of 1971 from New Orleans and made it to Alexandria, LA but had to stop when he realized his 10-speed was too small for his 6’ 3” body and the pain was too great.
