Chuck’s Corner
Golf Course Aeration
Why do we aerate our golf course turf area? Aeration is the necessary evil that is part of maintaining and improving grasses, soils, gardens, even your swimming pools and ponds. Enough can’t be said for the benefits it provides. You’ve heard all the normal comments about the increasing air movement, relieving compaction and allowing water movement and amendments into the soil. Aeration also aids in the reduction of thatch and helps break up hard pan layers, etc, etc.

Ranch Clubhouse & Beach House Pool Towels
Proper Club etiquette for our water facilities is to take advantage of the locker rooms to dry off and change after pool use. We also understand there are times when there is a need to take a pool towel home with you. In order to provide this service to our Membership we have initiated a fee of $10 per towel if they need to be removed from Club facilities.
If you recognize some towels in your home are from Promontory pools, please bring them back to the Ranch Clubhouse for processing and reuse. Promontory towels will have the label “Standard Textile Towels”.
Thank you for helping us keep Club costs down and keep track of our Club towels!
