The First Tee Junior Clinic Series Is Coming To Promontory!

The First Tee is an international youth development program, designed to teach life skills and healthy habits through the game of golf. The First Tee Junior Clinic offers 10 golf lessons for ages 7 to 17. Clinics will run from July 6th – August 5th, Friday & Sundays, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. .

This program is new to Promontory this year and member participation is crucial to the program’s success, we need a least 10 members to participate before we open it up to the public.

Tom Rogers Is Back For The 2018 Golf Season

Promontory’s Director of Instruction, Tom Rogers, is back for the 2018 Golf Season and is excited to start helping you with your golf instruction needs!

Tom is offering a 2018 Lesson & Coaching Package for $650 ($850 value), which will include 4 hours of Golf Instruction and a 9-Hole Playing Lesson!

Tom also offers Private Golf Lessons for $150 per hour.

The Duel – Member Guest Golf Tournament
June 26th – June 30th

Promontory’s Annual Duel Golf Tournament is open for registration and spots are filling up fast! If you wish to have you and your guest compete, please sign up by June 13th.

This year, The Duel is parlaying with our Annual Foundation event! We wold like you to know that part of your entry fee is tax deductible.

The Duel Pricing Options:

  • Gold Golf Level ($10,000): Includes Duel admission, a table for 10 at the foundation event, VIP Meet & Greet with Kenny Loggins (Invite for TWO), and more!
  • Silver Golf Level ($5,000): Duel admission, a table for 5 at the foundation event, and more!
  • Bronze Golf Level ($2,500): Includes Duel admission & 4 lawn seat tickets to the foundation event.
  • $2,000: Includes Duel admission & 2 lawn seat tickets to the foundation event (Please Note: This option is not tax deductible)

2018 Golf Season Club Storage

Promontory’s Golf Shop has begun to bill member accounts for 2018 Club Storage. Members that already have a bag in storage will see a charge for $175 on their next statement.If you are planning on storing your clubs, you will be  billed upon your arrival for the 2018 Golf Season.

Member Spotlight
The Borg Family

Andrea and Brian met in high school in Denver, Colorado and married after college. They have been together 26 years and just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in February!

They started their married life in San Francisco then lived overseas in Singapore, Tokyo, and London for 15 years.  During most of that time, Promontory was their US anchor and often the meeting place for all of their family and friends when they came back to visit.  They always knew they wanted to get back to Promontory after their time overseas.

Our First Annual Golf Ball Drop in lieu of a Silent Auction. All proceeds will benefit the Promontory Foundation.

A helicopter will drop all of the golf balls onto the Nicklaus Golf Course. Whichever ball lands in or closest to the hole willl win a week long trip to Mexico, including airfare.
