Promontory Home Owners:

Over the next three months, our community parking lots in the Village area will be undergoing construction. It is time to provide a much needed expansion to continue to provide parking for all community uses including mail pickup, shuttle services, trailheads, community information center, Club, and staff access. The Conservancy Board met to approve this project and budgeted amounts. Presently, the combined surface lots in the Village at Promontory contain 149 parking spaces. The planned expansion will remove the large landscaped island separating the lower southeast lot and the upper east lot closest to the Village Clubhouse and will allow us to increase our community parking stalls in the Village area by 41 spaces. While there is never a convenient time to disrupt parking areas, we believe that the March – mid May period is the most ideal so that we can complete the earth work and new paving/striping prior to our peak summer season when more Promontory residents are on property.

Please note that while this expansion requires us to remove several mature trees in the existing landscaped island, we have hired an arborist who specializes in spading to help us assess and re-purpose as many of our healthy trees as possible to other common areas in Promontory.

Please bear with us during construction. The roundabout in front of the Village Clubhouse will be temporarily inaccessible to vehicular traffic as the contractor will be using a portion of that upper lot for staging. Please access the Village Clubhouse, Kids Club, or trails around the Clubhouse by parking in the western lots in the Village area and using the pedestrian sidewalks to enter through the usual entrances/trailheads. Signs will be posted to direct you. Please reference the site diagram below.
