We're Transitioning to a New Internal Club Software System - March UPDATE

We are excited to announce that Promontory Club is transitioning to a new Club Software system! Northstar is the leading vendor of Club Management & Community Association Software used by more than 1000 clubs & communities worldwide. It is the only club software that offers a complete single solution built ground up on one database.

Over the next two months, Promontory will be finalizing the transition from our Foretees app and programming to a more efficient and robust Northstar app to better serve the membership. As we make this transition, we will keep the membership informed of each step until the transition is complete.

On Monday, February 1, we initiated the first step in the internal transition. Behind the scenes, we have gone live in our new Northstar system within our accounting, point of sale (POS), and customer relationship management (CRM) modules.

With this change, Owners/Members will not have daily access to detailed Activity History in the month of February or March on the ForeTees app/website as you have in the past. This interruption is temporary, and we appreciate your patience as we migrate to the new platform. If you need February or March transaction details in real-time during this period, please call Autumn Hatch at (435) 333-4024, Sara Baumgardt at 435-333-4028, or email the billing department and they will be able to produce statements and answer questions. Once the Northstar app is rolled out to Owners/Members next month, access to your account statements and daily activity charges will be available.

As a member/owner, both your Club and Conservancy February statements will be emailed to you out of our new Northstar system by Friday, March 12. The difference in March will be that for any member/owner on either of our automatic payment options – your auto payments will be run the last week of March.

All of our staff appreciate your patience as we get our Northstar system up and running! It’s going to be great and we are excited to roll it out to you.

Tubing Hill Hours

A Reminder from Home Services

As we “spring forward” with Daylight Savings Time this Sunday, March 14th, don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Fire Departments across the country recommend using this event as a benchmark to test your system and replace the batteries twice a year. This is an often overlooked and crucial safety measure; but beyond that, it can save you from the agony of a smoke detector beginning to beep in the middle of the night, 20 feet up on a vaulted ceiling.

Inquire about how our Home Services team can take care of this, and all of your home’s preventative maintenance needs.

Q1 Conservancy Board Meeting

Trash Pick up

On trash pickup day, please keep all trash inside your dumpster, with the lid closed. Please DO NOT leave cardboard boxes, furniture, or anything else that won’t fit in the dumpster on the ground – the truck drivers will not stop to collect anything outside the dumpster.

If your weekly trash is more than will fit in your dumpster, please contact Republic Services (435-615-8311) for another dumpster.

Please Do Not Feed The Animals

Life at Promontory comes with a front-row seat to a unique display: wildlife. Between the deer, elk, porcupines, and many others, the landscape is full of animals most people do not have the opportunity to see. As a steward of the open space at Promontory, the Conservancy is tasked with maintaining and preserving this natural environment, including the wildlife habitat. With input from state wildlife offices, we have learned that the best way to do this is to allow the animals the opportunity to live on their own, without any supplemental care. As such, we ask that Promontory owners please not leave out food or other attractants for the animals. Though it may seem counterintuitive, this practice has the potential to do more harm than good.

Thank you for respecting these creatures. We share their space and are fortunate to
have one-of-a-kind access to their world – our collective cooperation will ensure this access continues for years to come.

Pet Policy Reminder

Please consider other Promontory owners when taking your dogs out:

  • Even if your dogs are “friendly” they must remain on leash and under your control.
  • Dogs should be on a leash at all times, unless at the Dog Park or the off-leash trail leading up to the Dog Park.
  • Please clean up your animals’ waste. Bags are provided at the Dog Park and at various locations on the trails.
  • Please properly dispose of the waste bags in the garbage cans provided or otherwise. DO NOT leave these bags on the trails or elsewhere.

Dumpster Use

Just a reminder that the large dumpsters around Promontory are for operational use only. Please do not take your extra refuse to these dumpsters.

If you have more than your dumpsters can contain, please contact Republic Services at
435-615-8311 for an extra can or make arrangements for drop off at the many dumpster sites in the Park City area.

Conservancy Reminders

Pedestrian Safety

Our community is active, out, and about. Be safe when walking. When walking along a road, walk only on the shoulder (off of the asphalt), as far as practicable from the edge of the asphalt roadway. Where a sidewalk or a road shoulder is not available, walk on the outside edge of the roadway; and walk only on the far left side of the roadway facing oncoming traffic. The best place to walk is on Promontory’s 30 miles of trails.

Street Parking Reminder

All vehicles should be parked in the garage or driveway. This includes parking for any guests, vendors, landscapers, etc. Limited on-street parking is permitted on a case-by-case basis for homes under construction and temporary events (parties, for example). In these instances, we ask that you please contact the Conservancy ahead of the event to coordinate permission. Non-conventional vehicles must be parked in a garage or off-site.

Emergency Preparedness

Be Prepared. Know Your Exits.

Knowing your escape route is important before the need arises. At Promontory, there are FOUR exit points that can be used in case of an emergency.
  • Promontory Ranch Road to exit out the Main Gate or Equestrian Gate, when practicable. These routes are paved and lead to major thoroughfares better able to handle traffic.
  • Take Painted Valley Pass south as if going to the Nicklaus Golf Course, but continuing onto the dirt road where the paving ends near the driving range, which eventually leads to Brown’s Canyon
  • Go west on the dirt road off of the north side of Saddlehorn Drive in Bison Bluffs neighborhood, near the pump house, which will ultimately connect with Silver Gate Drive, Pace Frontage Road, and Promontory Ranch Road outside of the Equestrian Gate.
Please orient yourself with the community to understand the exit that best suits your location, whether leaving from home, an amenity, or elsewhere.Click below to view the Emergency Exit Map.

Emergency Notifications

Some years ago Summit County created a system to provide phone, email, and text messages regarding emergencies. The system was upgraded such that anyone who previously signed up will need to sign up again.

The alert center also provides information about non-emergency matters in and about Summit County.
