John and Kim Teegen have been vacationing in Park City for the past 15 years and they are thrilled to finally call it home! Originally from Florida, they have resided in the Bay Area for the last 11 years and although they grew up on Florida’s beaches, they have always been drawn to the dramatic landscape of Utah.

Over the years they have spent many family vacations in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival, skiing, and hiking. Their kids will now have the luxury of visiting mom and dad in one of their families’ favorite vacation spots. Their daughter, Jennefer, lives with her fiancé, Kevin, in Sunnyvale, California and their son, Brandon, lives with his wife, Madeline, in San Francisco.

John is an executive in the semi-conductor industry with more than 40 years of experience. In his leisure time he’s an amateur wildlife photographer. Kim loves history and the arts and she is very excited for the art programs The Shed has to offer. Both Kim and Jennefer work in the luxury travel industry and have shared many incredible journeys together from cruises through Europe to a safari in South Africa. Their latest journey however is planning Jennefer’s wedding next May in Carmel Valley. Brandon, like his dad, works in the tech industry and Madeline is a sixth grade English teacher.

The Teegens discovered Promontory within the last year and immediately knew it was a community suitable for their growing family. As their children are beginning to build their own families, Kim and John want their Promontory home to be a place for everyone to vacation away from the bustling city, a place to

teach the grandchildren to unplug and go outside, and a place for the two of them to settle into their forever home.
