The Chuangs – Emil, Michele, Julia, and Tyler, have been Promontory members and full-time residents since December 2016. After living in Switzerland for several years, they returned to the US in search of a clean mountain lifestyle similar to what they enjoyed while overseas. They found it in Park City. They love all winter sports, especially downhill and Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing and in the summer they love to golf, as well as road and mountain bike.
The Chuangs are a multiethnic, multicultural family who have lived all over the world. The children have already lived in four states and three countries learning to appreciate many cultures. Emil grew up in Australia and is a pharmaceutical research executive in San Diego when he is not in the mountains. Michele is a semi-retired physical therapist and spends her time as a volunteer at the National Ability Center in Park City. Continuing the multicultural tradition, their daughter, Julia, is currently attending college in Sydney and their son, Tyler, just graduated from Park City High School and will begin college at the University of Utah in the Fall.
