“Our family moved to Promontory 2 years ago from another Park City neighborhood. What appealed to us most at that time was access to the Equestrian Center for our daughter's growing love and talent for horseback riding. To be honest, we had initial misgivings about moving into what we perceived to be a "Country Club" community. Back in 2005 when my wife, Laura, and I made the decision to buy a lot and build a home in Promontory, the motivating factors were the sheer beauty of the mountains, spectacular views and air that was clean and fresh. We chose Promontory because we believe it provides the best mountain lifestyle experience and promotes a warm family-oriented environment. There really is something for every age. We even get to watch the elk graze below our windows, what a breathtaking sight. At the moment we are limited in coming only a few weeks a year, but that will change in the future. We chose to move to Promontory because we found the amenities offered put it in a class by itself. Nothing in the Park City and surrounding area came close in comparison. You are never at a loss for any form of activity from hiking and biking to golf and pottery classes or just hanging out at The Shed.

Our favorite activity would have to be golf. Ross and I took it up once we moved here. The courses are challenging and the breathtaking views make them some of the best courses around. The staff is excellent and friendly with instructors always ready to help you improve your game.

We also love winter at Promontory because we are avid skiers. The Alpine Lodge at Deer Valley is one of Promontory’s crown jewels. To be able to store your skis and equipment while meeting friends to head out to the slopes is just one of the many reasons we live in this fantastic community.

Living here has exceeded our expectations beyond anything we could have imagined.

We have been Members at Promontory since they first opened their sales 10 years ago. We are avid golfers and felt this would be a perfect second home for us in the summer. Along with golf, it is great for all other outdoor pursuits. Park City has numerous artistic events throughout the year plus many great restaurants. Promontory is also wonderful for winter sports with its Alpine Lodge at Deer Valley.

This development has far exceeded our expectations and keeps improving. The new clubhouse “The Shed” is a perfect example. Everything here is first-class and we just love it. And did we mention that it is only 25 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport?!
