Toning up for Promontory Foundation’s fundraiser next week

It’s an great honor to have some of the world’s top athletes come and support us next week at Promontory Foundation’s fund raiser, Golf with the Olympians.

And we are excited to have someone like Billy Schuffenhauer, a 3-time Olympian, be part of this.

So we took our cameras in to Xtraordinary Sports Performance for a demo (or four!) of how Schuffenhauer helps athletes improve their technique. Sean Smith, Promontory’s Outfitter and former Olympian checked out this technique.

Whose going to light the flame tonight?

After its 45,00 kilometer trek, the flame will reach the stadium this evening in Vancouver.

Among those who will carry the torch will be California’s Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Walter Gretzky. But no one knows who will light the cauldron!

I’m Sean Smith and am excited to be heading over to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics next week. I’ll be there with NBC to be their athlete liaison and special reporter for the Games.

Australian Lydis Lassala wins at Deer Valley!

Olympic freestyle skier, Lydis Lassala won the Deer Valley World Cup this weekend, and Sean Smith grabbed this quick interview soon after.
