Challenger British Soccer presented a week long soccer camp for Promontory kids this past week.
With FIFA World Cup just ending a few weeks previous to camp, the kids got a taste of World Cup soccer with their own play version during scrimmage time. Even better, Promontory kids from literally around the globe came to camp to play the game they love so much!
We had kids from Mexico, Puerto Rico, various states in the United States and Brazil represented at camp. Truly indicating that families from around the globe find Promontory to be a great place to live!
The coaches found the week to be a fantastic experience as they took on the camp at 7000 feet! Coach Ebberson, from London, England commented:
“The pitch was the best kept secret he had ever witnessed!”
Coach Trevelyan, also from London, had this to say about the experience:
” The beauty and serentiy of Promontory along with the great energy and love for the sport of soccer made for a wonderful week of camp.”
Both coaches loved their experience and were treated like royalty while on property.
Kids were able to grow and develope their soccer skills with the help of a great coaching staff. Truly getting “a kick” out of camp was the theme for a great week of soccer!

Families can enjoy the great soccer field anytime during the season. The field is lined and ready for play anytime for Promontory members. Enjoy the night sky too! With only the stars above, the soccer field becomes a great place for star gazing.
