The month of July is full of celebrations for families at Promontory. Our Kid’s Cabin started the month off with a Kid’s beach party held in coordination with Promontory Foundation’s Brian Wilson concert. Kids and their beach balls had a blast having their own party complete with a magic show from Magic Jim. Later that night joined with their parents for a fantastic firework display.
Kids literally had a blast with the Clark Planetarium. They learned about rocket power then using high powered water and electricity blasted off 2liter bottles a 100 feet in the air! Not to be outdone later in the week the first child to catch a trout from the pond was caught by Nick who screamed, “I got a fish, I got a fish- I REALLY got a fish!
Park City’s Parade, the biggest in the state for the July 4th holiday proved to be the biggest yet, with over 20,000 people in attendance! The kids in their red hats and flags rode the Promontory Jammer down Park City Main Street waving to the cheering crowd. Families gathered together for a barbque at the Promontory’s Town Lift Lodge.

All these wonderful events, family gatherings, children’s camps along with city celebrations make Promontory the place to join together as a family.
