Snow is a wonderland for a variety of animals and birds!
Covered in snow, the Adventure Trail becomes a winter haven for a variety of animals and birds. Cottontail rabbits turn white during the winter and become camouflaged from their predators. While the yellow bellied marmot makes his den deep in the snow.
The local grey horned owl makes his nightly visit from his nest hidden high in the aspen trees to the roof of the tower building.
Sharing their playground are the children! Children enjoy snow shoe hikes through the aspen trees discovering tracks and pellets from the animals that make their winter playground the adventure trail!
