Few things in life compare to exploring nature’s majesty on horseback, an unforgettable memory of scenic vistas choreographed to the Western soundtrack of squeaky leather saddles and pounding hooves.
Promontory members can do just that by visiting the Western Corral, jumping on a horse, and setting out on an exhilarating trail ride exploring the picturesque hills and valleys of Promontory’s 7,200 acres. When members aren't atop a saddle, the Western Corral is the ideal venue for other types of family fun, such as hearty chuck wagon dinners in summer and festive sleigh rides in winter.
Promontory provides luxurious surroundings for all its members—including horses. The world-class Equestrian Center is a testament to the club’s commitment to horse training, riding performance and blue-ribbon care. The private boarding and training facility, designed exclusively for Equestrian Members, features indoor and outdoor arenas for our Equestrian Members.
A private club lounge for viewing, training and riding is the perfect place to lounge and relax or have a party. During our sophisticated training camps our lounge has also been used to cater our members as well as the prime location for our annual Equestrian Holiday party.

The Oliver Family, Park City, UT
“Our family moved to Promontory 2 years ago from another Park City neighborhood. What appealed to us most at that time was access to the Equestrian Center for our daughter's growing love and talent for horseback riding. What truly surprised us when we began looking at the homes in Promontory was the incredible value you could get both in terms of the homes themselves and the amenities offered as part of the Promontory membership. To be honest, we had initial misgivings about moving into what we perceived to be a "Country Club" community. We were worried that it would be more difficult to make friends and to develop a sense of community. Boy, were we wrong! The people who live here could not be any friendlier or more helpful. The clubs and activities, from the Ranch Club to the new Shed, create endless opportunities to build relationships and have fun. The sense of community is very strong – families support one another and our children are growing up in a nurturing and cohesive extended family environment. This family-oriented culture is something we feel is unique to Promontory, and is supported by the clubs, activities and wonderful personnel. It is this unique culture that provides a somewhat intangible, but clearly enhanced experience of what it is to live here. Anyone can "see" the beautiful homes, golf courses, clubhouses and amenities of Promontory. But when you actually move here, it's what you "feel" about living here that makes it so special. We are incredibly happy to be part of this community and look forward to many more years spent living here!”
